The ARRI ALEXA LF production camera builds on what film makers love about the ARRI ALEXA Production camera line but now with the advantage of FULL FRAME 4.5k image capture that is NETFLIX approved.
Contained within a body similar to that of the ALEXA SXT Plus, the ALEXA LF strives to be a true all round camera package for the Full Frame market. With an integrated video & lens control wireless system, the ALEXA LF offers the best value and widest range of uses when capturing Full Frame content. It also offers extra features such as; tilt/roll sensors, electronic horizon, additional connectors for camera and lens control, signal output and accessory power.
The integrated wireless radio for lens remote control allows communication to the ARRI WCU-4 for focus, zoom and iris adjustments while the ARRI Integrated Wireless Video System allows a wireless video feed from boot up; you can easily plug in and go! Not only saving time but also saving weight as the use of an ARRI UMC-4 and other wireless systems is no longer needed.
The Alexa LF records onto Codex Capture drives and then transferred via the supplied Thunderbolt Codex Reader*.
