The updated coatings used in the HR range of zooms, allow for incredible contrast retention in bright sunlight, providing a lovely, element-rich, lens flare, with hints of rainbows. Soft falloff towards the edges of the image circle lead to round and swirly bokeh and an overall warmer tone to the image compliments skin tones.
When fitted with the Optica Magnus Academy to Super 35 Open Gate Expander the 25-250mm HR can cover ARRI ALEXA 35 Open Gate.
