ANGENIEUX EZ-1 30-90mm S35 T2/45-135mm FF/VV T3

The Angenieux EZ Series consists of two lenses – the EZ-1 30-90 S35/45-135mm FF/VV and the EZ-2 15-40mm S35/22-60mm FF/VV.

In S35 rear grouping the EZ-1 30-90mm at T2 builds on Angenieux’s legacy of lightweight versatile zooms. With a weight of 2.2kg and a 114mm front diameter, allowing use of clamp on matteboxing, the EZ-1 30-90mm is great for handheld, gimbal or steadicam rigs.

What sets the EZ series apart from the other lightweight lenses on offer from Angeniuex is the ability to swap out the rear optical assembly which transforms the EZ-1 30-90mm S35 to the EZ-1 45-135mm FF/VV.

The optical assembly swap must be done prior to the hire as it is not recommended to do in the field as the rear grouping is physically changed out. Once the FF/VV rear optical block is in place, the zoom becomes a 45-135mm focal length at T3 which offers Full Frame and Vista Vision coverage without adding extra length or significant weight change.

This allows cinematographers to have the same physical footprint of the S35 zoom but it now covers much larger sensors.
