The Angenieux Optimo 17-80mm provides a range of focal lengths that covers most standard prime sets. It is one of the fastest zooms available with a T2.2 stop.
The Optimo 17-80mm was originally designed to only cover 3-perf 35mm. Through the use of the Optica Magnus Expander (specifically designed for the 17-80mm Optimo), our 17-80mm Optimo now covers Open Gate on the ALEXA 35.
The resulting focal length is 20.5-98mm at T2.6.
