The Optimo DP (Digital Production) series lenses are considered to be one of the most versatile zoom lenses used with the new large format digital production cameras. The Optimo 30-80mm is a lightweight zoom lens, that is great for handheld and steadicam rigs, offering the versatility and quality, at a more affordable price. This lens works perfectly with the Angenieux Optimo DP 16-42mm to provide a full range of focal lengths for any shoot.
*Optimo DP lenses cannot be use with 35mm film cameras, or Red Motion mount, due to the extended rear element, which does not clear the spinning mirrors.
*Will not work with 1.4x or 2x Angenieux extenders due to the extended rear element.
