Canon EOS C500 MkII

The Canon EOS C500 Mark II features a 38.1mm x 20.1 mm full frame sensor. It supports full frame readout as well as Super 35mm and Super 16mm modes. The newly developed DIGIC DV7 high-speed image processing platform, the camera makes possible 5.9K/60p, 4K/60p and 2K/120p recording. The sensor features over 15 stops of dynamic range and Dual Pixel Autofocus (when in EF mount).

The C500 Mark II can be fitted with either a Canon EF or PL Mount (please advise at time of booking which mount is required).

Employing Cinema RAW Light, a video format that allows for reduced file sizes while retaining video information, the EOS C500 Mark II makes possible the internal recording of RAW data without the use of an external recorder. The camera also supports XF-AVC, a video format that efficiently records compressed video data.

Record internally CFexpress Type B cards via two CFexpress card slots and can capture an 8-bit XF-AVC proxy as well as JPEGs onto an SD card.

The C500 II has a wide variety of gamma settings, including Canon Log 2 and Log 3. Cinema BT.2020, DCI-P3, and legacy BT.709 colour gamuts are all available.
