The G.L. Optics Lomo Spherical Standard Speeds are 1980s Russian cinema lenses, designed to cover the Super 35mm format.
The Lomo spherical lenses were the highest performing cinema lenses being made in Russia at the time of their production. They have an incredible analogue character, they flare easily in a very beautiful way.
G.L. Optics have rehoused the Lomo Standard Speeds with a modern housing featuring 0.8 pitch gearing on both the focus and iris allowing use of remote focus systems.
The rehousing has a focus throw of 330 degrees and close focus has been greatly improved on all of the lenses.
The lenses have matching 95mm fronts, matching gear positions and are compatible with clamp on mattebox due to internal movement during focus throws.
