The Canon FD-X 10mm T3 is a very unique lens in the FD range.

Responding to the demand for an ultra-wide option to use alongside the Canon FD and K35 ranges, TLS has introduce the Canon 10mm FD-X — a one-of-a-kind creation that covers ARRI LF & Sony VENICE Open Gate with an image circle of 45mm.

TLS combined optical elements from the Canon 14mm EF MkI and and the Angenieux Wide Angle adapter, merging both designs to achieve a truly distinctive result.

This bespoke optical assembly has been carefully tuned to maintain visual consistency with the rest of the Canon FD series.

The result is a 10mm lens that delivers exceptional image coverage and the signature Canon FD aesthetic, with smooth tonal transitions and natural rendering.

True Lens Services have developed a cam driven focus system alongside the chassis style lens. The benefit of zero backlash and image shift give accurate dual focus scales that repeat on direction and change with the cam drive system, giving wide spread and even markings throughout the distance scale.
