The Zeiss Standard Speed MkII primes are relatively small, very solid yet lightweight lens range with a constant T2.1 aperture through the bulk of the focal lengths.
Zeiss Standard Speed are known for their contrasty look and their ability to add that timeless vintage film aesthetic when used on modern digital cameras.
The Zeiss Standard Speed MkII range share similar coating to the Zeiss Super Speeds series and are often used to compliment the Super Speeds range. Given focal lengths in the Zeiss Super Speeds series is limited to six focal lengths; the Zeiss Standard Speed MkII series neatly rounds out the missing focal lengths while maintaining the classic vintage look between the sets.
